It was an emotional day at the Talladega Superspeedway yesterday.
Following the discovery of a noose in Bubba Wallace’s garage, all of the drivers and their crews pushed Wallace’s car to the front of the pack prior to the race.
Once the green flag flew however, all bets were off, as Ryan Blaney finished the race in the top spot. Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Aric Almirola followed close behind, with Wallace finishing 14th.
Cambridge Wisconsin Native Matt Kenseth did not finish the race.
