
In an attempt to flee police, a Manitowoc man ended up injuring one and is now facing a litany of charges.
The Manitowoc Police went to perform a check on a residence in the 1000 block of South 20th Street at around 4:00 Saturday afternoon, and learned that an individual staying there had a felony warrant out for his arrest.
When officers attempted to enter the home, the suspect, a 35 year old male, attempted to flee by jumping out a second story window. In the process, he landed on an officer who had taken a perimeter position, injuring him.
Officers were able to capture the suspect, who was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
The suspect is now facing charges of possessing those two drugs, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing, Battery to Law Enforcement, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Four Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
