With Father’s Day celebrations, there is a concern for the possible spread of the Covid-19 virus when families gather. Tom Veeser, who is the chief nursing officer at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, spoke with SeehaferNews.com and offered some advice for those celebrations. He said “The common sense of trying to keep distance even if you’re in a home, and avoid those close hugs…The people getting it the most are people in their 20s, and often pretty healthy and asymptomatic. We don’t want to keep people isolated, but I think using common sense to keep some level of distance even as you get together in family settings.” Many people will be traveling throughout the state for Father’s Day this Sunday.
