Three people were taken to an local hospital after two separate traffic accidents in Sheboygan County.
The first occurred near the intersection of 17th Street and Indiana Avenue in the city of Sheboygan.
Reports indicate that a 36 year old woman was driving west on Indiana, when she dropped her contact lens. When she attempted to find it, she swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle head on.
She was briefly hospitalized, while the occupants of the second vehicle were unharmed.
Then, just north of the city, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department were called to an accident a the intersection of Highway 42 and County Road J, where an 18 year old woman ran a stop light and struck another vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
