The Dunn County man who used a bow-and-arrow to kill his roommate has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
54-year-old Richard Seehaver pleaded no contest to a charge of second-degree intentional homicide in April.
Seehaver reportedly told detectives he killed John Likeness two years ago to “put him out of his misery.”
The trial was initially delayed when Seehaver was found not competent.
Menomonie police were called to the home where they found Likeness dead in a recliner.
Seehaver admitted he killed him.
