While the details have not been released, it is being reported that the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to three separate overdose cases over a 24 hour period.
All three people involved were revived with NARCAN, but their current conditions are not known at this time.
To put things into perspective, on an average week, law enforcement in Sheboygan County respond to one or two overdoses a week.
The report points to the cause being a “bad batch of heroin”, and also said the last time a bad batch of heroin made its way to the county, four overdoses were reported in a 36 hour period in Cedar Grove.
