The NEW Zoo is going virtual this year with their celebration of World Giraffe Day this Friday.
The NEW Zoo Facebook page will be featuring giraffe-related content every hour, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Through a series of videos and more, they will take you behind-the-scenes to meet their Animal Care staff, teach you all about giraffes, and provide some fun activities you can do at home. You can even chat with zoo experts during a Facebook Live video at 1:00 p.m.
Also, on Father’s Day all dads will receive free admission to the zoo.
Non-members should still pre-purchase tickets for your visit for one of three available time slots: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., while members simply can show up anytime throughout the day.
