Richard John Van Haren, 70 years of age, from Neenah was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du Lac Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.
A Wisconsin State Trooper responded to the scene of a crash on Oakridge Rd. and County Highway CB where Van Haren had lost control of his moped when navigating a roundabout at that location. In talking with him, the Trooper smelled the odor of intoxicants. The driver was attended to by medical staff on scene and transported to a local hospital.
After more investigation, Van Haren was subsequently arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated 4th offense.
