Governor Evers Blocks UW System Sexual Harassment Changes

Governor Tony Evers has blocked changes in the University of Wisconsin System’s policy on sexual harassment and sexual assault. Evers said the new policy statement is too vague. The governor has also joined a lawsuit against the Trump administration to block new rules for harassment on college campuses. The rules would provide more protections for students –mostly men – who are accused of harassment or assault. Evers says he is in favor of retaining the more broadly defined rules set by the Obama administration.
