There was a power outage this morning on Manitowoc’s near South Side.
According to Manitowoc Public Utilities Key Accounts and Meter Services Manager Daniel Salm, about 1,000 customers were affected by the outage, which was brought about due to a pole fire at the intersection of South 18th Street and Wollmer Street.
A circuit interruption was required in order to repair the defective equipment.
The outage began at 7:07 AM, and was fixed by 7:11AM.
