There continues to be an urgent need for blood donations as hospitals resume surgeries & treatments that require blood products.
There are 2 Blood drives in our area next week. The first is Monday, June 22nd at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc between the hours of 3-&-7pm. Donation stations will use appropriate social distancing and appointments are required. To schedule a time, go to: donate.wisconsin.versiti.org.
The American Red Cross has also scheduled a blood drive for Thursday, June 25th at Denmark High School from noon to 5pm. It will be at this donation drive only, that the American Red Cross will be testing all blood, platelet and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies.
