Authorities in Marquette County report a 57-year-old Ripon woman has drowned in a weekend kayaking accident on the Mecan River.
Deputies were called to the scene Saturday at about 3:30 p-m.
Emergency responders say C-P-R was already being performed on Tammi J. McCauley when they arrived.
McCauley died before she could be taken to a hospital. Investigators say no foul play is suspected.
The woman was kayaking with her sister at the time of the accident.
