A Dane County judge has given the defense more time to prepare an argument to move the murder trial for a 15-year-old defendant to juvenile court.
A hearing for Myjee Sanders of Verona was held Thursday where the judge determined there is enough evidence to go to trial.
Sanders faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide for the fatal shooting of teenager Shay Watson in Fitchburg last August.
The 18-year-old Watson was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
