Lakeshore Technical College announced today it is partnering with local market research expert Leede Research to complete an Education Assessment Program in the LTC service area. T
he goal of the program is to better understand the educational needs of the community moving forward. The information gathered from key stakeholder groups will be used by LTC leadership, board, and committees to develop the strategic plan for the school and related community assets for coming years.
The first step of the study will be a series of online surveys targeting businesses, students, and the general population of the LTC service area. These will be launched early June and will ask about education needs and the programs and services LTC offers in the area.
Dr. Paul Carlsen, president of Lakeshore Technical College noted, “It is vital that we be aligned with the needs of our local stakeholders to ensure we provide the most appropriate programs and services in our communities. These surveys are just one way we can make this connection and deliver viable products.”
The community is asked to participate in these surveys and provide their thoughts for the future.
The program is made available in part through Leede’s Community Grant Program, which is designed to help area organizations advance community needs.
