A few dozen supporters marched around the Kenosha County Courthouse Monday while a hearing for 19-year-old Chrystul Kizer was held.
Her attorney was asking the judge for a bail reduction.
Kizer is accused of killing a man she has said was sex-trafficking her on the streets of Kenosha. She was 17 when she shot Randy Volar to death, then set his body on fire.
Kizer has claimed self-defense.
The judge decided not to reduce her bail after being told by prosecutors Kizer has changed her story multiple times.
Her trial is set to be held in September.
