The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has signed deals with two contract call centers to help speed up the claims process for people applying for unemployment benefits.
Alorica and Beyond Vision were brought on board two weeks ago.
D-W-D Secretary Caleb Frostman says adding the call centers has allowed cleared the way for the state to gather necessary information and help Wisconsin residents get the benefits they deserve. More people will be added.
Alorica has 135 agents on the job last week and expects to have almost four times that number by the end of the month.
