A new sculpture in the city of Manitowoc will be welcoming out of state visitors to the Clipper City.
Mayor Justin Nickels described the badger sculpture as roughly 14 feet tall. He also said “This sculpture also spins around so you can take the perfect selfie with it! Just grab its caulking mallet (which was used to build schooners).”
The sculpture, created by Carl Vanderheyden and Nick Mueller spins slowly as to not be a safety hazard.
The piece is a great way to welcome visitors to the city, and the state with a beautiful piece of artwork, that also shows what Wisconsin is all about.
