As you’ve been hearing again recently all blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for hospital patients. The American Red Cross has announced there are two blood donation opportunities in Manitowoc County next week. The first is on Monday in Manitowoc, at Shoreline Hometown Credit Union at 4400 Calumet Avenue. Donors can stop in from noon until 4:00.
Later in the week, area residents can make a life-saving gift during a blood drive in Mishicot, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church…That is going on Thursday, June 11th from 1 until 6pm. A blood donor card, driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.
