The Green Bay Packers are delivering a message on social justice in the wake of protests over the police custody death of George Floyd.
The team said,”we condemn the systemic racism that has existed forever in this country. We stand with those raising their voices, protesting the injustices and demanding change.”
The video message include statements from Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Billy Turner, Adrian Amos, Kevin King, David Bakhtiari, Corey Linsley, Kenny Clark, Marcedes Lewis, Preston Smith, Mason Crosby and coach Matt LaFleur.
Packers President/C-E-O Mark Murphy announced they are working with the players to make a 250-thousand-dollar donation to Wisconsin causes that support social justice and racial equality. Murphy and his wife will also be donating a quarter million to local groups.
Enough is enough.
