The City of Sheboygan has decided to cancel their Fourth of July fireworks show.
Sheboygan Mayor Mike Vandersteen said that they decided to cancel the show due to the guidance of the “Sheboygan County Safe Restart” plan put in place by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health.
Also, those planning to head to the beach on the 4th of July, bonfires this year will only be allowed using one of the four permanent fire rings.
Meanwhile, the City of Two Rivers has announced that their show will go on as planned. There will not be any public access to Walsh Field, where the fireworks will be shot off, but residents will be able to enjoy the show for other places in the city.
