After sitting out 2019 with an injury, Equanimeous St. Brown could be a big factor for his team if and when the N-F-L season starts. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers says St. Brown has a great approach to the game. Rodgers says he’s excited about the wide receiver who caught 21 passes for 328 yards when he was healthy.
The departures of tight end Jimmy Graham and wide receiver Geronimo Allison mean two guys who were targeted 115 times last season aren’t around anymore. Many of those passes could go to St. Brown who is big and has run a 4-48 time in the 40.
Meanwhile, 31-year-old free agent defensive lineman Mike Daniels says he is in the best shape of his eight-year career. Daniels lost time to injuries the last two seasons and COVID-19 has stopped him from working out for teams this off-season.
He says he’d like to be a Packer again – where he played his first seven N-F-L seasons. Daniels says he believes he would be an impact player in the Packers defensive scheme.
He played for the Detroit Lions last season.
