The overnight storm which swept through the area has caused damage in many places throughout Easter Wisconsin. Acuity Insurance saw their flag literally tear in half.
A video shows the flag was torn just below the blue field filled with stars, and the two halves fluttering in the heavy wind.
Meanwhile, the Chilton Fire Department said that several trees and limbs fell creating hazardous situations throughout the city. Two homes also sustained damage according to the Facebook post made by the department; however no one was injured in the incident.
WPS reported that more than 600 customers were without power in the Oshkosh area this morning, along with nearly 3,000 We Energies customers.
