The Wisconsin Justice Department’s Division of Criminal Investigation has a suspect in a domestic incident was wounded in an officer-involved shooting in Watertown Sunday night.
Watertown police say they initiated a traffic stop for a burned-out taillight, but they had been looking for the driver.
During the stop, the officer shot the man and investigators say a weapon was found on the scene.
Paramedics took him to a nearby hospital.
The man’s name and medical condition haven’t been released.
