This is the final week of virtual learning in the 2019-’20 school year for the Manitowoc Public School District.
Superintendent Mark Holzman told SeehaferNews.com that he’s very appreciative of all involved for being flexible and doing the best they can. The local district is currently reviewing several options for the new school year in 3 months as it relates to COVID-19.
As for athletics this Fall, Holzman said, “We know that co-curricular are important in our student development. We want to continue to provide opportunities, but again the challenge is that some will be easier to do and have all the social distancing, and some are more difficult…We are hopeful to prove a great fall season for all of our student-athletes.”
Holzman explained they’ll continue to work with local agencies, their conference (the FRCC), and the WIAA.
