The Green Bay Packers will save three million dollars in cap space by restructuring their deal with guard Lane Taylor.
The new agreement lowers Taylor’s base salary from $3.8 million to $1.5 million, with another $1.5 million available as playing time bonuses.
The new agreement suggests Taylor will make the 53-man roster and have an opportunity to win the starting right guard job.
Taylor is a three-year starter for the Packers who suffered a season-ending injury in practice last year.
