The Manitowoc Youth Baseball Association will have a shortened season this summer.
That’s according to MYBA President Randy Heinzen who tells SeehaferNews.com the group decided to move forward after a 3-hour ZOOM Board meeting last week. He said there was a lot of discussion and much research offered by several subcommittees to hold a season after COVID-19.
Heinzen explains they have a tentative date to starting practices on June 14th with games beginning two weeks later on June 29th. He added the current plan is to have league games wrap up by August 6th and not have an end-of-year tournament.
The MYBA official says they’ll continue to monitor the virus situation in our community and adjust plans for the summer if the status changes significantly.
