A 25-year-old Sheboygan woman is facing multiple charges following a one-vehicle crash on I-43 in Sheboygan County Late Sunday Afternoon. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve cited Sabrina Walker with Operating while intoxicated-causing injury with a passenger under the age of 16 along with a- number- of traffic offenses.
Sergeant Jesse James says Walker was traveling northbound on I-43 in the Town of Mosel when she crossed the median, rolled over and came to rest on its roof in the southbound lane of traffic. Walker was flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee while a child passenger was taken to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with serious but unspecified injuries.
Agencies providing assistance at the I-43 crash site included Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-Kohler Police Department- Howards Grove Fire Department- Haven Jaws of Life-Town of Sheboygan Fire- Sheboygan County Highway Department and Orange Cross Ambulance with Theda Star and Eagle III helicopters.
