Race fans, start your engines. The 60th season of racing will be taking place at the Plymouth Dirt Track at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds starting Saturday June 6th.
The season was delayed by 7 weeks due to the pandemic.
In order to have the races, the Fairgrounds will be abiding by a few safety precautions, including only allowing 25% of the total capacity into the grandstands. Also, they are adding additional bleachers to allow more people in, while allowing them to stay spread out.
While these are the rules the County has put in place at this time, a representative of the track said that by June 6th, they may actually be allowed to allow up to 50% of their total capacity.
He also said they will continue to follow guidance given to them by Sheboygan County Health Officials.
