Upon hearing that the State Fair was canceled for 2020. The Manitowoc County Expo Board released a statement this afternoon in regards to the status of this year’s County Fair. Facility Manager Jennell Shelton says “The Manitowoc County Expo Board has been planning the 2020 Manitowoc County Fair for the past year and have also been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation while consulting with our fair judges, vendors and entertainment acts. Since the Manitowoc County Fair is the single largest event held in Manitowoc County every year, the Expo Board has always held the safety of our fairgoers as their highest priority and they will be making a recommendation in June regarding hosting or possibly canceling the 2020 Manitowoc County Fair.”
The Manitowoc County Fair is scheduled for August 26th through 30th at the Expo Grounds.
