The Wisconsin Elections Commission says 200 thousand people were able to vote in the April 7th balloting without having to show their I-D. Those people declared themselves “indefinitely confined” due to the coronavirus pandemic. The W-E-C says a normal year sees about 70 thousand confined voters. There are questions about what to do about it moving forward. State law allows for confined voters to submit absentee ballots again in both the August primary and November presidential election.
