A thirteen-year veteran of the Manitowoc Police Department was recently promoted to become the agency’s new Crime Prevention Officer.
Chief Nick Reimer tells SeehaferNews.com the new CPO is Sergeant Paul Crock. Reimer explained that SGT Crock was a school resource officer at Wilson, and has been with the Department for the last 13 years. SGT Crock moved here from Green Bay, and the Police Chief said “It is excellent to have him in town…He will fill those shoes very nicely.
Reimer went on to describe the roles the Crime Prevention Sergeant has, including, “getting out in the community, let people know about scams…run the citizens academy, handle fraud complaints with banking institutions…they also get out and do presentations with workplace safety.”
Sgt. Crock takes over the important department role from Andy Trilling who has retired.
