Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies say a 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning when he lost control, left the road, rolled his bike and hit a tree.
The man from Merrill died before he could be taken to a hospital. His name hasn’t been released.
Although the accident wasn’t reported until 10:22 a-m Sunday, deputies believe it happened hours earlier and wasn’t discovered.
