The Manitowoc area has 2 new signals on the FM radio band with a familiar sound, WOMT and WCUB are now simulcasting audio at 107.9 FM and 97.1 FM delivering the music and features in the superior quality of FM audio, with a coverage of approximately 15 miles, twenty-four hours a day.
107.9 FM WOMT is legally identified as W300EE at 230 Watts, and 97.1 FM WCUB is W246DY at 250 watts. 980 WCUB & 1240 WOMT Radio serviced on the AM band will continue as usual. The FM licenses were granted to WOMT and WCUB by the FCC as part of the AM Revitalization Act.
WOMT radio is also broadcasting via a stream on the station’s website twenty-four hours a day. Computer, cell phone, and streaming devices can access the broadcast directly from www.womtradio.com. WCUB radio online streaming can be found at cubradio.com.
