The Kenosha County Health Departments says officials at the local Amazon campus aren’t being transparent about the number of COVID-19 cases at the workplace.
Some employees estimate more than 30 of their fellow workers have been sickened. Another estimate puts the number closer to 20.
Amazon has told local media it would welcome a visit from county health officials.
Though the online retail giant didn’t confirm a specific number of cases, it says it’s rates of infection are “at or below the rates” of the surrounding communities.
