A 12-year-old Milwaukee girl is the latest of several minors who have suffered gunshot wounds.
She is expected to recover from the injury she suffered when a bullet passed through the walls of her home Thursday.
Authorities say at least 15 children under the age of 18 have been injured by guns in Milwaukee since April 1st.
They are worried because the Memorial Day holiday marks the start of warmer weather – and that almost always leads to an increase in violent crime.
