
If you are looking to get out of the house this weekend, the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is putting on an event that may interest you or any children under your care.
They will be holding a Drive-Thru Barnyard experience 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through Monday in their parking lots. The event will feature traditional farm animals like calves, goats, horses, pigs and chickens, as well as machinery used on the farm.
Patty Lehn, Farm Wisconsin Executive Director said, “We want families to have a safe way to connect with agriculture from the convenience of their vehicles…we hope drive-thru guests leave with a little more understanding and appreciation for Wisconsin agriculture.”
Visitors will also be able to purchase individual servings of Cedar Crest ice cream for $3 during the drive-thru event, which will be available through the online cart or with exact change the day of.
