Madison police have reportedly broken up several large parties since Governor Evers’ Safer at Home order went into effect in late March.
Officers have responded to 82 calls and issued 15 citations so far.
The department says it was a busy weekend with at least a half-dozen big groups dispersed between Friday evening and early Tuesday morning.
In each of those cases, police say the people voluntarily broke up their party and left with no resistance.
The order was blocked by the Wisconsin Supreme Court last week.
