While Manitowoc County is now on a two day streak of no new confirmed cases of COVID-19, Sheboygan County is hoping to start their streak again today after confirming another case yesterday.
In Manitowoc County, the number of confirmed cases remains at 20, and another patient has fully recovered. This leaves the County with 16 active cases.
One more case was confirmed in Sheboygan County, bringing their total up to 69. Only 13 of those cases are still active and one person is seeking treatment in a hospital. A total of 53 patients have fully recovered, and three have died from the virus.
Sheboygan County has been doing a lot of testing as well, reporting an additional 63 tests were performed yesterday.
Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director Travis Waack explained that if you want to get tested but are worried about how you will pay for it, there is nothing to fear, as they are fully covered by insurance. If you do not have insurance, there are several state programs in place to help you out.
