
One person has died as a result of an officer involved shooting in Green Bay over the weekend.
Police were called to respond to a report of gunshots in the 2800 block of University Avenue at 3:00 AM on Saturday, and witnessed one person fire a weapon at a second individual.
Officers then engaged the gunman, killing him at the scene.
No one else was injured in the incident, and the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
