There will be no American Legion baseball in Wisconsin this summer. For the first time since 1927, the American Legion in Wisconsin is canceling the season. The announcement was made Saturday. Wisconsin American Legion Baseball Commissioner Roger Mathison says the board considered the health of the players, coaches, parents, fans and volunteers while making its decision. There were 217 teams playing last summer in the state, making it the fourth-largest program in the U-S. Insurance and registration refunds will be processed in two-to-three weeks.
