Chances are you have heard about the so-called Murder Hornets that have reached the United States.
The Asian Giant Hornet may be a scary creature, but as Wisconsinites, we don’t have much to worry about, unless you plan to travel.
Reports are indicating that due to the climate in which they are native, the hornets would not likely want to live here, citing the frigid cold winters.
And while the nickname Murder Hornet is incredibly concerning, the fact is, more people die from honeybees in Japan and mainland Asia than they do from the Asian Giant Hornet.
One entomologist even said that if there is any insect worthy of being called a murderer, it’s the mosquito, as they have spread many different diseases throughout many countries throughout the world.
