Milwaukee police say officers wounded a man suspected of killing a woman at Walgreens Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were fired upon as they arrived at the store at about 2:00 p-m and encountered an armed man.
The two officers fired back, wounding the 51-year-old suspect, who suffered serious injuries. He is expected to survive.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales says the 48-year-old woman’s death may be an act of domestic violence.
No names have been released and no officers were injured.
