A fire on the east side of Green Bay yesterday afternoon has left ten people without a home.
The fire in the 2400 block of Robinson Avenue was reported to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department Just prior to 3:30 PM, and when crews arrived, they found that the fire started in the garage and was moving into the attic.
After battling and defeating the blaze, crews determined that the fire started when a family member left a propane cooking appliance unattended in the garage.
All four adults and six children were able to escape without injury, and are now staying with family members.
The blaze caused an estimated $80,000 in damage.
