A Brown County judge admits he made an error in his factual observations, but he says that doesn’t change the law.
Judge John Zakowski ruled for a second time Tuesday that the county’s half-cent sales tax is legal.
The judge says the Brown County Taxpayers Association didn’t present any newly discovered evidence and failed to raise an error of law in their repeated challenge.
The group doesn’t like the way the revenue generated by the tax is being used.
