One report has the Golden State Warriors ramping up a major effort to get superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo as early as the upcoming off-season.
The Milwaukee Bucks star isn’t a free agent until 2021, but the Warriors see him as being the way they can get back to respectability quickly.
If the Bucks decide they won’t be able to stop the six-11 scoring machine from testing out free agency, they might be open to a trade – and N-B-C Sports Bay Area is pointing out that Golden State has a lot of trade assets to offer.
Of course, Milwaukee wants to keep its biggest asset at home and work is being done on that objective right now.
