Marquette sophomore Destiny Strother is leaving the Golden Eagles to play for the University of Pittsburgh.
Pitt head coach Lance White announced the signing Thursday afternoon. Strother is a five-foot-nine guard who will have to sit out the next season, then will have three years of eligibility remaining.
She came off the bench to play in 17 games for Marquette during a 24-and-8 season.
She was a four-star recruit from Carmen-Ainsworth High School in Flint, Michigan.
