Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers calls the lawsuit over his Safer at Home order “silly.”
The Evers administration turned in its defense Tuesday and today (Thursday) is the day Republican lawmakers will file their response before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. They want the high court to reject the governor’s order extending Safer at Home through May 26th.
Opponents to the order think the court could strike it down as unconstitutional.
The Supreme Court hasn’t indicated when it might issue its decision.
