Americollect, a supporter of The Manitowoc County Fair since 2017, has purchased the naming rights to the Expo’s Merchants Building.
Facilities Manager Jennell Shelton says from now on the building will officially be named the “Americollect Merchants Building”. Shelton explained “They are not only our naming rights sponsor for the merchants building, but they’ve actually continued their support of our Manitowoc County Fair by being our music pavilion sponsor as well. It’s an added bonus for us. We’re very pleased”
Shelton says the Americollect Merchants Building hosts the indoor fair vendors, the Ant Hill Mob Bike Show and Dance, Rummage Sales, The Manitowoc Jaycees Brewfest, The Northeast Wisconsin Dog Show Classic along with many other events throughout the year.
Americollect CEO Kenlyn Gretz stated “Supporting the Manitowoc County Fair is an easy decision for Americollect. When we ask our co-workers what local events they like attending the most, the Fair receives the highest vote! Investing back into our communities is a long-range strategy for Americollect”.
All the funding will go directly towards improvements to the Merchants Building. Preparations continue for the Manitowoc County Fair with the theme “Stars and Stripes and Fair Delights” scheduled to run August 26th through 30th.
