Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst says the team tried to get a wide receiver in the second round of last weekend’s 2020 N-F-L Draft, but couldn’t move up.
They had two prospects they were tracking. Gutekunst says he tried to trade with several teams but ended the effort when his second choice came off the board.
The Packers G-M didn’t name the players he was after.
Seven wide receivers were taken in the first 27 picks of the second round.
Green Bay went with power running back A-J Dillon instead.
