Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers says there’s no reason to make any changes to plans for next month’s special election to fill the vacant 7th Congressional District seat. It’s still on for May 12th. Evers says the rural nature of that district makes social distancing easier and lessens the threat from the coronavirus pandemic and there is no need to change Election Day. Voters will be choosing a replacement for Republican Sean Duffy, who resigned last year. G-O-P State Senator Tom Tiffany faces Democrat Tricia Zunker of Wausau.
